These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kudos Autism's in-home ABA therapy services and our website. By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of Services
Kudos Autism provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services delivered by trained clinical staff (BCBAs, RBTs).
Our services include:
- In-home ABA sessions
- Parent guidance and training
- Behavioral assessments
- Treatment planning
- Progress monitoring
We do not provide:
- Medical care
- Emergency services
- Psychological counseling outside the scope of ABA
If you or your child is in crisis, call emergency services immediately.
2. Eligibility
To receive services, you must:
- Be the parent or legal guardian of the child
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain active insurance (if applicable)
- Sign all required clinical and insurance forms (informed consent, release of information, etc.)
3. Insurance & Billing
If you use TRICARE or another insurer:
- Authorization is required before services begin
- Coverage limitations may apply based on your plan
- Parent/guardian is responsible for any non-covered charges
- Co-pays/coinsurance (if applicable) must be paid promptly
Kudos Autism reserves the right to pause or discontinue services for unpaid balances.
4. Scheduling & Cancellations
Parent Responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for service delivery
- Ensure a caregiver is present during sessions (where required)
- Notify us promptly of schedule conflicts
Cancellations
- Notice must be given according to clinic policy (typically 24 hours)
- Excessive cancellations may affect service continuation
- No-show fees may apply based on payer requirements
5. Staff Safety & Conduct
Kudos Autism may discontinue services if:
- Staff feel unsafe
- Conditions in the home prevent services
- There is harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior toward staff
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for staff mistreatment.
6. Parent Participation
ABA therapy requires caregiver involvement. Parents may be asked to:
- Attend trainings
- Implement strategies between sessions
- Participate in assessments and reviews
Lack of participation may impact outcomes.
7. Communication
Communication methods may include:
- Phone
- HIPAA-secure messaging systems
- In-person updates
We do not provide on-call, after-hours, or emergency response.
8. Clinical Documentation
Kudos Autism maintains:
- Session notes
- Assessments
- Treatment plans
- Progress reports
You may request copies in accordance with HIPAA and state law.
9. Use of Website
Our website may provide resources or general information. This content is not individualized clinical advice.
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to access restricted systems
- Upload harmful or inappropriate content
10. Intellectual Property
All materials on our website or provided in treatment remain the property of Kudos Autism. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.
11. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- Kudos Autism is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for delays or interruptions beyond our control
- Clinical outcomes cannot be guaranteed
Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for services within the three months preceding any claim.
12. Termination of Services
We may terminate services if:
- Safety concerns arise
- Required paperwork is incomplete
- Insurance authorization lapses
- Balances remain unpaid
- Excessive cancellations occur
You may request service termination at any time, subject to payer/authorization requirements.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of new terms.
